Dr. Landis and his wife, Barb are both natives of Harrisburg. Pastor Landis graduated from Lower Dauphin High School. Several years later he felt a call into the ministry and attended RHEMA Bible Training Center, a school founded by Rev. Kenneth Hagin, in the suburbs of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Returning to Harrisburg, Pastor Dave started Word Fellowship, a faith-based church located in the city of Harrisburg. This church grew to about 1000 attendees throughout the 1980’s, and has continued to grow today as Life Center Ministries. During this time of growth he continued his formal education by attaining a Bachelor of Theology, a Master of Biblical Studies, a Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry from Christian International School of Theology, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Pastor Dave took a sabbatical from ministry. After a time of rest, he and his wife Barb started Word of Grace Ministries in 1990.

With over 40 years of Pastoral experience, as well as various ministry teaching opportunities throughout Europe, India, Central America, Russia, Haiti and the Philippines, Pastor Dave is leading this congregation into the future.

Pastor Landis recently published a book "Go and Sin No More" on the topic of Biblical marriage, remarriage & divorce.  To order your copy, go to

“As Pastor of Word of Grace Ministries, let me be the first to welcome you into our fellowship through your internet visit. Word of Grace was born out of a vision to reach the multitudes of people within Harrisburg and its surrounding areas with the uncompromised Word of God. The various sections within this website explain how the members of Word of Grace plan to implement this vision.” ~ Pastor Dave Landis
